Tommy Nguyen

We are here to celebrate the vibrant and joyous life of Tommy Nguyen, our beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend. Tommy was born on June 24, 1975, and in his 50 years, he brought light and laughter to everyone he met. A true comedian, his wicked and colorful sense of humor could always make you smile, even on the darkest days. To quote Charlie Chaplin, "A day without laughter is a day wasted." Tommy lived this quote to its fullest, ensuring no day was wasted without a hearty chuckle or a shared joke.

Tommy was a proud resident of Richmond, Texas, but his life journey also took him to San Diego and West Covina. He was a talented assembly line leader for Valco Instruments, where he displayed his exceptional skills for almost two decades. When he wasn't leading the line, Tommy was an avid gamer, a self-proclaimed IT enthusiast, and an Amazon shopping connoisseur. His generous spirit was evident in the kitchen where he loved to try new recipes and cook for his loved ones. As someone who loved to experiment with the latest gadgets, there was no tech problem that Tommy couldn't solve.

Tommy loved his family dearly. He was survived by his wife Nikki, their children Nathan and Olivia, his parents Huynh Nguyen and Bay Quach, his siblings Nikki (Alex) Nguyen, David (Julie) Nguyen, Michelle (Jerome) Quach-Mandani, and his in-laws Linda Luu, David Nguyen, Mindy Luu, and Tony Luu. Tommy was also an adored uncle to Anthony, Brittany, Henry, Justin, Phoenix, Gracie, Amelia, and Noah, who will all remember him fondly. Tommy was preceded in death by his brother, John Quach.

As we remember Tommy, let us honor his legacy by living as he did - with a generous heart, a loving spirit, and a sense of humor that could light up a room. As Mark Twain said, "The human race has one really effective weapon, and that is laughter." Tommy wielded this weapon with skill and kindness, and we are all better for having known him.
